Public rehearsal of The banquet, 2013
Video of a public rehearsal at the Théâtre du Mouvement in Paris. I was experimenting how to distort my body through trauma, viscosity and organic movements. With this performance I intended to construct a new body language. During the performance, The Banquet, I had food, drinks and more glasses on the table; they all ended on the floor as I ended on the table.
This performance aimed at inviting my audience to my re-birth through the organic.
Desperate, 2009
This is an extract of a video artwork that I projected on my body during the performance Desperately Me at The New Art Exchange Gallery. This video untitled Desperate, is a montage of series 2 of Desperate Housewives by Marc Cherry, creating a narrative of female gestures in contemporary society.
Müller's study-performance, 2009
Video displayed at the Horizontal exhibition, for Derby Feste in 2009.
Video of my performance presented in the Cell in Nottingham where I projected Müller's movie on my bodie and reproduced women's stereotypical gestures. I become a white screen, a projection of them.
In the Mood for Shoes, 2009
In the Mood for Shoes is composed of the video Untitled Performance (November 2008) where the performer Laure Pépin is wearing black fashionable outfits and trying different shoes in order to feel and demonstrate how shoes influence our way of walking and deform our body, and In the Mood for Shoes, realised by Laure Pépin, which is a montage of extracts from the movie In the Mood for Love directed by Wong Kar Wai focusing on Maggie Cheung’s feet.
